Jack and Jill - a nursery rhyme

 

Jack and

Jill

Went up the

hill

To fetch a pail of

water.

Jack fell

down

And broke his

crown

And Jill came tumbling

after.

 

 

 

Mr McLean’s version:

 

Jack and Jill

Went down the

mountain

To fetch some water from the

fountain.

Jill fell down and hurt her

knee

And Jack said,

"Gee!

It’s usually

me."

To try to find a

pet.

They saw a

toad

Out on the

It was slippery and
