Jack and Jill - a nursery rhyme

Jack and

Jill

Went up the

hill

To fetch a pail of

water.

Jack fell

down

And broke his

crown

And Jill came tumbling

after.

 

Mr McLean’s version:

 

Jack and Jill

Went down the

mountain

To fetch some water from the

fountain.

Jill fell down and hurt her

knee

And Jack said,

"Gee!

It’s usually

me."

 

SIK’s version:

 

Jack and

Jill

Went up the

hill

To fetch a pail of

water.

Jack fell

down

And broke his

crown

And Jill came tumbling
